Take out all memory modules and let it be olny one memory module instaled in your pc then reinstall or make fresh install vista(if your vista instalation fail couse of a 32 bit memory controller(nv3) bug)) Plz find and install Windows6.0-KB929777-v2-x86.msu It works for me and workin with restart or shotdown too.
