Make sure you have the latest version of MyDrive Connect installed. You can check that you have the latest version by visiting our FAQ: How do I know if I'm using the latest version of MyDrive Connect?

Check that your navigation device is switched on and connected directly into a USB port on your computer. If you are using a USB hub or USB port on a monitor or keyboard, your device may not be recognized. Use only the USB cable supplied with your device. Other USB cables may not work. You cannot use the mount to connect your device to your computer.

On your computer, right click on Computer (or My Computer) and select Manage. If you receive a message asking to confirm administrator permission, confirm by pressing Yes or OK.

Select Device Manager.

Double-click Network Adapters. Right click on your TomTom navigation device and select Update Driver Software.

Select Browse my computer for driver software and select the appropriate folder as listed below for your computer’s operating system:
Windows – 64 bit: C:\Program Files (x86)\MyDrive Connect\Driver\INF
Windows – 32 bit: C:\Program Files\MyDrive Connect\Driver\INF

Click Next and the driver will install.
