"according to the website, its an lga 775 socket with FSB 800. therefore you can only upgrade to a Pentium Dual Core or the low end Core 2 duo which has FSB 800. the core 2 duo is a better built technology but you need to make sure that you'll get FSB 800 only as above these, it wot work."

ANYWAY...I looked up the E5200 on the Intel website and it DOES have an 800 MHz FSB (and is 2.50 GHz). I also searched for Core 2 Duo with 800 MHz FSB on the Intel website and found the E4600 (2.4 Ghz) and E4700 (2.6 Ghz).
