SmartFocus automatically generates zoom keyframes to optimize viewing at any dimensions. In Recorder, SmartFocus collects data about the actions completed and the cursor movement in the recording. SmartFocus predicts where to add zoom effects, saving you the time it takes to manually find and insert zoom keyframes.

This option automatically applies SmartFocus to any Camtasia Recorder video clips added to the timeline.

If you do not want to automatically apply SmartFocus, disable this option. SmartFocus can still be turned on in the Zoom-n-Pan tab.

You find SmartFocus in the Camtasia Editor (not Camtasia recorder). It's under Edit/SmartFocus.
