Mate nekdo zkusenosti se zahranicnim hostingem?

Velmi spatne.
Dostal jsem k dispozici od jednoho uzivatele domenu PSPad.NET
udajen neomezeny trafic, 500 MB mista. Ale jake bylo me prekvapeni, kdyz mi hosting pozastavil domenu. Pak jsem zjistil, ze duvodem bylo to, ze nabizim ke stazeni format CAB, ktery nepodporuji. Takze jsem nechal pouze podporovany ZIP.
Hosting stale stoji.
Po dalsich mailech jsem zjistil, ze duvodem je to, ze nabizim ke stazeni soubory. Vubec je nezajimalo, ze jsou to soubory odpovidajici obsahu stranek
Takze hosting s neomezenym traficem a 500MB mista, kam si muzes nahrat nejakou 500MB prezentaci, ale nesmis nic nabidnout ke stazeni.
Doporucuji si podrobne precist podminky a predem s nimi prokonzultovat, co od hostingu ocekavas. V podmnkach v dobe zaladani hostingu nic takoveho nebylo, mozna to tam kvuli me doplnili

Nepochopil jsem vztah pspad.net domény a webhostingem b-one.
Po přečtení smlouvy bych do toho nešel, bál bych se + po tvé osobní zkušenosti, že by mohli opravdu klást nesnesitelné podmínky, kdyby se časem změnil web.

Ja to neplatil, dostal jsem to od jednoho uzivatele s tim, ze tam bude mirror stranek PSPadu + mirror stahovani.
Sam tam ma nekolik stranek a bez problemu. A kdyz videl komunikaci s reakce ze strany b-one, byl z toho sam na vetvi. Navic si fakt myslim, ze se mirne upravily podminky hostingu v prubehu komunikace.
Za ty 3.60 to byl v te dobe stredni program, ted odpovidajici tomu oucasnemu strednimu. Pouze se nyni zvetsil webovy prostor.
A ted je otazka, k cemu je mi 1GB, kdyz tam muzu dat pouze stranky...
A neomezeny trafic jen do te miry, dokud nezatezuji servery hostingu a ten neusoudi, ze ti trafic omezi.

ale to se zas nemuze brat obecne, myslim, ze solidni zahranicni hosting tohle neudela. uvidime co se sezene a pak to sem dam i se zkusenostma.

b-one by mel byt solidni hosting. Ja to psal jen jako varovani, ze je treba poradne procist podminky, popr. schovat si podminky z doby, kdy je uzavrena smlouva, aby byl prostor pro argumentaci. I kdyz v tomto pripade zrejme nic nenaargumentujes a soudit se v zahranici, za to to nestoji.

which, at the moment, looks like a good thing to do.

I'm still arguing with B-one about their newfound policy about contents and
what they consider "downloadable" material. It's currently totally out of
place, not even a normal plain website can exist if they choose to enforce
this policy. And with 500 MB storage, I have no idea what to store ...

Do you know that they currently consider Shockwave (.swf), Acrobat (.pdf)
and even large jpeg-files as "downloadable material" and considered not
allowed?!?

This effectively means that not many normal websites are allowed if they
generate any traffic whatsoever.

So I have filed a general complaint together with the withdrawal of 44
domain names including hosting services. 12 of which I administer and 32
from other contacts which I have helped, forwarded/recommended to B-one.

The pspad.net domain is not included in this, it is not affected and remains
the same. B-one doesn't refund any money and I already have enough other
domains/sites involved in the complaint. The pspad.net domain will remain
yours to administer/use for at least another year or so.

Hopefully, they will realize that their current policy about their hosting
services for *paying* customers is wrong and makes them uninterestingly for
a lot of people.

But, as I said, I'm still talking to them. I'll let you know if there are
any changes about their policy or anything else.

Za povsimnuti stoji, ze i on se divi nove politice a ze b-one povazuje za material ke stazeni i flash, PDF a vetsi obrazky...
